Photography for me is more than just making a living.  It’s a whole learning experience, with learning about light and how the camera works, building a website, learning Adobe and what in the world to write on face book.


The thing that I like most about photography is the look on people’s faces when they look at pictures.  The most natural smiles that I normally see are people looking at pictures in the back of a camera.  You watch for it and let me know if I am wrong.


I want to take pictures and I want to be your photographer at your special occasions.  Just as much as I want that, I want YOU to take great pictures and share them  because I believe that every time we smile together and connect with someone else it strengthens relationships and relationships are what hold the world together.


Some of my entries will be about what I have learned and hopefully you will get something that you can use too.   If I pass things on to you that make your pictures better or your relationships, please let me know, I would love to hear from you.
Low key Photo

I never get bored with photography, mostly because there are always new things to learn and to try.  Anyone picking up a camera and taking pictures is a photographer.  But to be a good or great photographer you need constant practice, time spent reviewing pictures, time spent learning techniques and photography software and the willingness to experiment and learn new things.

This picture was taken when I was experiment with  - low key – pictures.  That is a picture that is mostly dark.

I am always learning, always experimenting and hopefully I will never get to the point where I feel that I know it all.
